Bangkok is a crazy place

I arrived in Bangkok around 11 am and started my experience as genuinely as could be expected. I had a Thai woman point at a lady and ask if I thought she was attractive. When I replied with a simple “ yeah, I guess,” she responded  with “She man, don’t!”. I thanked her for her service and continued on my way.

I booked my hostel through the HostelWorld app, which I find easy to use, but I know some people prefer to book through the hostel itself. I wanted to get to my hostel as quickly as possible but wanted to avoid getting scammed by a cab so I took the bus for a ways and got off closer to the hostel. From there, I jumped in a cab, and for about $2 USD, he took me the rest of the way. NOTE: Bangkok Metro is pretty nice and easy to use!

I picked the Apartment 45 hostel due to its reviews and that it isn’t known as a party hostel. I like to party, but when it comes time to sleep, I like it to be quiet. I wouldn’t say it is central, but it is close enough to a metro station, and the guy running the front desk (need to get his name) was really nice and helpful. I picked a six person mixed dorm and lucked out having it all to myself.

If this sticker didn’t let me know what I was in for then I don’t know what would.
